CRM Software changes the way we feel about work


As an older employee in my current organization, I sometimes am amazed and how much has changed in all the years of my association with the Microsoft CRM solutions. When we set up the customer relationship cell, we had a lot of files, with a few computers and excel as out only support system. We had huge data files that had backups at 3 to 4 places; the fear of loss of data was paramount. We were always on our toes. Each data and analysis meant compiling information from all relevant departments and extracts the important stuff. Those were the days, when all reporting was time consuming and, to be on honest, dreadful at a personal level.

Microsoft CRM Solutions: The world changed overnight
It was recently that we had implementation of the Microsoft CRM solutions in our company. I was a part of the core team and was well versed with the amount of time saving and smarter resource utilization that would be possible once we implemented the software. I was also scared at the same time of the impending change and moving out of my comfort zone. It was and is perhaps the best thing that happened to our department in all these years. My team is more motivated, the stacks of excels and files are done away with, all information is easily available and reporting is no longer a cumbersome task that can cost us hours of work due to human error anymore. To be able to see my team have a better work-life balance thanks to this software implementation is an amazing feeling.
